Dreams Really Do Come True

Well, I finally did it…I finally launched my fashion blog! Starting a Big & Tall menswear fashion blog has been a major goal of mine for the last 4 years. I have to be honest, the reason it took me so long to start, is self doubt and overthinking.

Self doubt is a huge issue that I’ve been facing for many years, but as I get older, I’m getting that “who the hell cares?” mentality. I told myself, “When it comes to launching this blog, don’t overthink it, just do it.”, and guess what – I did it!

I’ve always had a love for fashion and a sense of style, and being a guy of a certain stature, I can never relate to most of the men’s fashion blogs that are out today. So one day I decided that I wanted to start a fashion blog for people who feel like me.

Being a big guy who likes to dress nice and stay trendy is not very easy. There are a lot of hurdles that I have to jump over. Things like retailers not carrying my size in stores, or being told they only carry my size online.

I know there are a lot of guys out there that can relate to me, which is why I started MenTall. I want to have a place where a Big & Tall guy like myself, can go read information on what’s happening in the industry, like if he needs advice on the best places to go shopping, or help with what he should wear for a special occasion.

Lastly, I want to ask if you can do something for me before we begin this journey together? Define your style in two words and leave your answers in the comment box below.

To start off, I define my style as Preppy Street!
